Features

The features of the White-Label eShop and Mobile App are identical unless otherwise noted.

Any differences are detailed in the sections below.

Discovery of eSIM plans

Users can search for eSIM plans by selecting a country from a list or choosing between Local, Regional, and Global tabs.

Each plan's details are presented in Plan Cards.

It's possible to change the currency since the plan prices can be defined for a few supported currencies.

User registration

There are three ways to create a user account:

  • Email address
  • Google Sign-In
  • Apple Sign-In

These options are available through the My Account view.

Logging in and out

When a user account exists, users can log in using the same options.

Forgot password

A password reset flow is available, which sends an email to the user to reset their password.

eSIM Management

Logged-in users can view their ordered eSIMs and eSIM plan details in My eSIM view, where plans are categorised as Current or Expired.

In most cases, users can return an eSIM.

There is also an option to apply a discount/voucher.

Add-Ons

Add-Ons allow users to extend both the data and expiration date of a plan while retaining the same eSIM.

Plan Purchasing

After searching through plans and selecting one, users can view the order summary and proceed to purchase.

An option to check out as a guest is supported.

Payments can be made using credit/debit card by passing required details or via PayPal service.

Additionally, Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported if enabled on the device or browser.

Plan Installation

In the eShop web app, users can download eSIMs by scanning the activation QR code or by copying and pasting the activation code when accessed via mobile or tablet.

In the mobile app, a Download Plan button is available, sending the eSIM activation request to the provider.

Direct download is also supported in the mobile web for iOS, starting from version 17.4.

Find My Plan Flow

This optional flow asks customers a few basic questions about their intended usage and recommends a plan that best fits these criteria. If the suggested plan is not suitable, customers have the option to view other plans.

Promo Banner

Promo Banner is a configurable, time-limited promoting feature. It results with an informative banner appearing with icons and link, and a graphic indicator visible in the Plan Card for plans that are part of the promotion.

For example, this was used for Orange plans during the 2024 Olympics, when specific plans were extended with an additional 50 GB of data.

Onboarding Screens

A set of initial views with nice graphics are shown for the first use after the app installation. These guided screens introduce users to the app’s features and functionalities, increasing their engagement by setting expectations and demonstrating the value briefly.

Info

Onboarding Screens are available in the Mobile App only
