Monitoring Sales Devices

Note

Monitoring is currently set up for kiosk devices only. You must first set up kiosks in Sales Devices first to be able to view their status.

Overview

The Monitoring page allows displays a list of Kiosks along with other information like Status, Details, Device Name, Sales Outlet, and Sales Channel in a table.

The status column provides the overall status information about associated devices. The following are the possible statuses.

OK - The device is functional.

Warning - A warning status on one or more hardware checks. For example, a printer reporting a paper low error.

Error - An error with one or more hardware checks and the device is out of order. When out of order, the device cannot be used.

Offline - If server does not receive a response from the device, the kiosk is considered offline due to some other cause. This check is performed after a sale is complete, or every 5 minutes when idle.

Details

The Details column, when clicked, will show more detailed information about hardware status in a popup. There is also an additional row for overall status displayed as Health Status. The following values are possible:

Pass - The device is functioning normally.

Fail - The device is not functioning and needs immediate attention.

Warning - The device needs attention soon (like replacing paper for printer)
